Doctorate in Biomedicine
The creation of this program dates back to 2010. (Codes ISCED 1 Life Sciences and ISCED 2 Medicine). The program brings together researchers, economic resources and sufficient instrumental means to seek the advancement of knowledge, development and innovation in Biomedicine through excellent scientific research. It is a scientific commitment by the UGR to Biomedicine, facing the challenge of advancing the quality of life of citizens, through an institutional initiative aimed at turning the city of Granada into an international benchmark for health teaching and research.
Doctorate in Clinical Medicine and Public Health
The doctoral program in Clinical Medicine and Public Health (ISCED Codes 0911, 0912, 0913, 0914, 0915) emerged in 2010 due to the need to adapt the offer of third cycle studies to current legislation. It is a multidisciplinary program solidly supported by the experience provided by prestigious researchers.
The program is aimed at professionals in the health field who are interested in deepening research in the field of clinical medicine and public health, and who meet the requirements for access to doctoral studies according to Royal Decree 99/2011, of January 28. We require commitment and prior related training, so students from the master's degrees assigned to the program will have preference.
Doctorate in Psychology
The Doctoral Program in Psychology from the University of Granada (UNESCO ISCED code 864), is part of the doctoral programs offered by the Doctoral School of Health Sciences of the UGR and has the purpose of training doctors in the different fields of psychology and its relationship with Health Sciences. This program is regulated by Royal Decree 99/2011 (Code: B13 56 1; RD 99/2011)
Students in the program will be able to obtain theoretical, technical and methodological knowledge necessary for advanced research in a wide variety of psychological areas: Clinical Psychology, Evolutionary Psychology, Educational Psychology, Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology, Social Psychology, etc.
